When one life ends,
the next story bursts into being.
neosupernova is a creative unit formed by game creator Yasunori Tonooka and server engineer Shingo Kojima. Through play, we deliver insights that have not yet found words.
See our latest workA game series about the shape of a life
A rich life
is not measured by its length.
A series of five games that let you experience a whole life. Be reborn as 37 lives in Rinne-roku, live out a life in one of Japan’s towns in Born in This Town, change 1,000 lives as mayor in A Thousand Lives, travel Japan from a single straw in The Straw Millionaire’s Life, and protect the body as a white blood cell in Antibody Puzzle. Your guide is Beei, a bean with a sprout on its head. Each life you finish earns Life Points, and Beei grows with you.
Be reborn as 37 different lives. Feed others, pass life on, earn virtue, and let it decide your next life.
Be born in one of Japan’s 1,740 municipalities and rate your life satisfaction each year. At the end, compare it with the life you might have lived.
Serve as mayor for 20 years. Your facilities and policies shape the lives of 1,000 residents. Then compare with a town that did nothing.
Start with a single straw and trade your way across Japan. Look back on your life through what you gained and the bonds you made.
Also used in school classes, corporate well-being training, and community development by local governments.
